Day 5 started off great, slept in because of the party night before of course, and, feeling quite remorseful for the wrong-doings of the past 12 hours, wanted to get back on the band wagon.
I had the fried rice that I had made a couple of days ago, really filling, and really healthy. Homemade food is great, you know exactly what's in every bite! I'd actually had a whole day in, just sorting out Uni stuff, hanging on the couch mostly (and by mostly I mean entirely), so a healthy meal was very much needed.
It wasn't until my flatmates got home (and yes, I do tend to blame most things on my flatmates) with a block of delicious Whittaker's 72% Ghana Peppermint and dinner that I broke out of the good regime and dove head first into ecstasy. That shit is gooood! Its not even that bad. Becs tells me it had half the carbs that most chocolate has, and her word is pretty golden, she's a primary school teacher.
For dinner we had roast chicken, frozen steamed veges (well, defrosted and heated veges), and potato roasters. They were probably going to be the worst part of my day, until Dessert King N.F. came round and made the most delicious Self Saucing Black Doris Plum Pudding. I didn't even have to have it, but YOU HAD TO HAVE IT. It was absolutely mouth watering. Shoved it back with some whipped cream, you know, just to make sure I was really piling it on.
Tomorrow / today will be better, I promise. We'll see.
xoxo Jeffrey
